Created by M. Weitzman for the Works Progress Administration (known for being the most ambitious New Deal agency), the U.S. Travel Bureau used this poster to promote tourism in the late 30s / early 40s.

Established by Franklin Delano Roosevelt's Works Progress Administration (WPA) as part of his New Deal, the Federal Arts Program ran from August 29, 1935 until June 30, 1943. The Federal Arts Program (FAP) sponsored artists to create a wide variety of murals, paintings and posters.
